Passware Kit Basic is a program to retrieve passwords. Using this program you will be able to retrieve passwords used to protect MS Word or Excel documents, Windows or Outlook Express logins that you forgot or you never knew.
The program works through a step by step wizard that will ask you every data needed to retrieve the password. You can choose to retrieve passwords from files, Internet, network or Windows administrator. In the file option, you'll launch the Attack wizard. The program will ask you if you have any information about the password, in order to narrow the search. Then it will ask you if you want to use Online Decryption. Then, it will trigger the different modules to retrieve the password. The Internet Password recovery will allow you to recover e-mail, websites and network passwords. The Windows Administrator will allow you to reset the Administrator password, generating a bootable CD that will allow you to change the stored password for the one you entered. The demo version will only recover the first 3 characters of passwords. The Windows Administrator will reset the password to 'Demo12345' only. |
